Tuition for young children and students
Tuition and Support
Coast Education provides specialist tuition to students diagnosed with, or suspected of having, a specific learning difficulty. Usually, tuition is only offered to students if:
I have carried out a full diagnostic assessment OR
You are able to provided a full diagnostic assessment AND
You request tuition or support AND
Based upon scores, observations and curriculum demands, they require urgent intervention.
Specialist Tuition is delivered by Denise Hawkes via Zoom. (25 years teaching experience, specialist teacher, Patoss, British Dyslexia Association)
However, at the present time, due to Covid-19, I am accepting students with suspected Specific Learning Difficulties, providing there is a history of need. It could be, for example, that they failed the phonics test, have extra support at school or may be struggling with their studies.
Tuition is available for:
Key Stage 1
Key Stage 2

Key Stage 4
Specialist Tuition is £22.50 for 30 minutes.
Students of secondary school age can have a split session (30 minutes face-to-face, 30 minutes independent work and 30 minutes face-to-face for £45).
Resources (to keep) and reward stickers are sent via post once a week.
