Coast Education  provides specialist tuition to students diagnosed with, or suspected of having, a specific learning difficulty.

Relevant Qualifications: BA(Hons) Education QTS, Master of Arts (Specific Learning Difficulties/ Dyslexia)

Experience: Teaching dyslexic students and those with dyscalculia and specific learning difficulties for 20 years!

Subjects taught: Primary Literacy Skills (Key Stages 1 and 2), Secondary / English GCSE Literature and Language, (KS3 and KS4), Mathematics (Primary to Foundation GCSE). 

Delivery of Lessons: Zoom only 

Fee: £45 per hour

Lisa Brine

Teacher, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-Ordinator (Sendco) at a local secondary school. 

Relevant Qualifications: BA (Hons) English Literature; currently undertaking Post-Graduate certificate in Language, Literacy and Dyslexia (distance learning University of Birmingham). 

 Experience: EFL Teacher for 10 years; GCSE and intervention teacher; and dyslexia teaching. 

Subjects taught: Literacy Skills (Primary KS2); Secondary/GCSE Language and Literature; A' Level Language and Literature; Maths up to GCSE Foundation; GCSE Spanish and French. 

Delivery of Lessons: Face to Face (optional) in Brighton and Shoreham-by-Sea, otherwise Zoom. 

Fee: £45 per hour face-to-face or £40 per hour via Zoom
